Painting Process Prep, Painting and Clean-up
Exterior prep:
When preparing surfaces for painting we evaluate the level of debris present. Careful scraping removes any loose residual paint, while stubborn dirt, stains, or mildew are effectively addressed through brushing, (old-fashioned) scrubbing or pressure washing. We also ensure that any areas previously caulked are re-caulked to maintain effective protection against water intrusion.
Interior prep:
During the preparation phase, your furniture and decor (if any) will be carefully moved to the center of the room and shielded with plastic sheeting. Any hanging lighting, hand railings, countertops anything within proximity of what we’re painting will be protected, taped or papered off. All flooring will be safeguarded with drop cloths. Any cracks or holes discovered on the painting surfaces will promptly be filled unless instructed otherwise.
Exterior or interior prep:
Sections that have been repaired or consist of bare surface material will receive a primer coat before applying premium-quality paint. This ensures a durable and uniform finish.
Clean-up:
Following the completion of our work, we will meticulously remove any mess we create, including paint chips, drywall dust, or any resulting debris.
